Sudoku Rules
Sudoku is played on a 9×9 grid split into nine 3×3 boxes. The goal is to fill every cell with a digit from 1 to 9.
The three rules
- Each row contains the digits 1–9 exactly once.
- Each column contains the digits 1–9 exactly once.
- Each 3×3 box contains the digits 1–9 exactly once.
No guessing needed
A well-made puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone. If you feel stuck, there is always a next logical step.
X-Sudoku
In X-Sudoku the two long diagonals must also contain each digit once.
